When Manish, the co-founder of Ahana, approached us, he already had a powerful foundation — a name that means “the first light of the sun.” It was poetic, rooted in Indian tradition, and full of quiet strength — just like the women the brand is designed for.
Ahana is not just a clothing label. It’s a celebration of Indian heritage reimagined for the modern world. Known for its use of art silk in creating timeless sarees and contemporary Indianwear, the brand walks a beautiful line between the grace of tradition and the confidence of modern fashion.
From our very first conversation, one thing was clear: Ahana needed a logo and identity that felt relevant to today’s audience without losing touch with its roots. Manish wanted a symbol with a story — something meaningful, minimal, and layered with cultural nuance.
That’s when the lotus became the heart of the design.


A lotus, much like Ahana, rises gracefully — symbolizing purity, renewal, and timeless beauty. We worked to create a version of the lotus that felt both minimalistic and elegant, drawing inspiration from Indian art while refining it for a modern aesthetic. The form we designed blends sharp lines with soft curves, giving the logo a fluidity that speaks to Ahana’s dual identity — heritage-rich, yet fashion-forward.
Beyond the logo, the entire brand identity was designed to echo Ahana’s values: inclusivity, culture, and contemporary relevance. Whether it’s a festive saree or a modern fusion outfit, the brand promises “Indian heritage with every occasion” — and now, it has a visual story that says exactly that.
